Privacy Policy
Soliman Advocates ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
Executive Brief requests. If you request a free Executive Brief (PDF) for one of our services, we collect the name, job title, company and email address you provide, along with the service you requested.
Direct contact. If you email us, call us, or message us on WhatsApp, we receive whatever information you choose to share through that channel. Those channels are also governed by the privacy practices of the provider you use to reach us (for example, WhatsApp is operated by Meta).
Case Assessment tool. Our free online case assessment runs entirely in your browser. The incident type, port, vessel type and urgency you select are not transmitted to or stored on our servers — they only generate the guidance shown on your screen and, if you choose to continue by WhatsApp, email or phone, a pre-filled message you review and send yourself.
Automatic usage data. We use Vercel Analytics to understand overall site traffic. It reports aggregate page views and does not use cookies or track individual visitors across other websites.
How We Use Your Information
To send the Executive Brief you requested and follow up on your inquiry.
To respond to questions you send us directly.
To understand and improve how visitors use this website, using aggregated, non-identifying data.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
How Executive Brief Requests Are Processed
Executive Brief requests submitted through this website are sent using FormSubmit.co, a third-party form-delivery service, which forwards the information you enter directly to our firm email address. If that service is unavailable, the form offers a direct email fallback instead.
No Attorney-Client Relationship
Submitting an Executive Brief request, using the case assessment tool, or sending us a message through this website does not create an attorney-client relationship and is not a substitute for legal advice on your specific matter. Please do not send confidential or time-sensitive information until we have confirmed in writing that we are acting for you.
Data Retention
We keep the personal information you send us only for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, pursue an engagement, or comply with our own legal and professional record-keeping obligations.
Your Rights
Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 gives you rights over your personal data, including the right to know what we hold about you, to request a copy, to ask us to correct it, and to ask us to delete it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address below.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information sent to us, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This website is intended for businesses and professionals in the shipping and maritime industry. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
