Since 1988, our practice has developed alongside the international shipping and trade activity passing through the Suez Canal and Egyptian ports.
Today, we advise shipowners, ship managers, charterers, P&I Clubs, marine insurers, cargo interests, international businesses and foreign law firms on matters arising across maritime, customs and international trade law.

Suez stands at the southern gateway of the Suez Canal, where international shipping, ports, cargo, industry and trade meet Egyptian jurisdiction.
Over the decades, the matters reaching our office have involved vessels, businesses, insurers, cargo interests and lawyers from jurisdictions around the world.
Our practice has consequently developed with an international outlook while remaining grounded in practical experience of Egyptian law, courts and authorities.
We do not need to follow international shipping around the world. Much of the world’s shipping comes through our jurisdiction.
